Mrs. Elena RybakMember of the Board, European-Ukrainian Energy Agency, Ukraine
Mrs. Elena Rybak has been working in Ukraine’s energy sector for almost 10 years, mostly focusing on developing energy efficiency and renewable energy markets, supporting framework and institutional aspects along with guiding investors through the challenges and opportunities during early market development times. Elena has been a Member of the Board of the European-Ukrainian Energy Agency (EUEA) since 2013, and prior to that, she has been organization’s Director since its establishment in 2009. Under Elena’s leadership, EUEA became the leading NGO for promoting energy efficiency and renewable energy in Ukraine, bringing together key market leaders actively working on Ukraine’s sustainable development.
In addition to her experience from the non-governmental sector, Elena is the Managing Director of an Austrian engineering consulting company iC consulenten in Ukraine since 2013. Her focus is mostly consulting assignments for donor and IFI-financed projects related to Ukraine’s sustainable energy market and, since recently, also gender aspects in energy.
Elena holds Professional MBA in Energy Management from Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Executive Academy, 2017), the Business Administration degree from International Christian University-Kyiv (2006) and is an alumna of several international exchange and leadership programmes.
